Benedetta started as a voiceover in 1994, following a successful career as an international radio and TV presenter that began in the mid-’80s. She has interviewed on and off camera the world’s biggest music stars. Topping her list are nonetheless James Brown and David Bowie. The latter she interviewed live on RAI Uno – the Italian national TV channel – for the ‘Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert’ in 1992.

From 1990 to 1995, she presented on camera and co-produced NBC’s ‘Culture Calendar’, produced ‘Wanted’ for the pan-European TV network Super Channel and conducted interviews for the Italian terrestrial music channel VideoMusic. She also appeared on three BBC children’s Saturday morning TV episodes.

Benedetta is the former voice of Cartoon Network Italy (17 years), RAI-London (15 years), and ESPN Classic Sports Italy (10 years). 

She has recorded TV promos for the BBC, Discovery, Sky, Bloomberg, National Geographic, CNN, MTV, JimJam, ABC, Hallmark, and Disney Channel amongst others. 

She is also a highly experienced narrator. Her clients’ list includes the Imperial War Museum – Churchill War Rooms, the British Museum, the Tate Gallery, the Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Courtauld Gallery, The Louvre, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court, The Real Mary King’s Close, Dickens’ Home, Ellis Island, and The Statue of Liberty NYC. Her voice is featured in adverts for major brands including Alitalia, British Airways, BT, Expedia Italy, FIAT, Google, Amazon, Muller, Nokia, Samsung, Canon, The Observer, The Times, Vanish, Apple, Microsoft, Easyjet, Vodafone.

She is the voice of the Stansted Express and the Gatwick Express trains, Luton and Gatwick Airports, and numerous airlines’ inflight passengers’ announcements.

She is the voice of Fisher-Price’s Puppy (Cagnolino).

Benedetta is also a respected voice coach. She coached Cate Blanchett on the Italian pronunciation lines of “Si” by Giorgio Armani, TV commercial.
